Frederick Freddy Charles Krueger is a homicidal maniac, the main negative character in the horror film series A Nightmare on Elm Street. Many critics have recognized it as a cult film character. He first appears in the 1984 Wes Craven film A Nightmare on Elm Street, as a man with a body burned to the muscles and bones, wearing a red sweater with dark green horizontal stripes and a brown hat. On his right hand, he wears a glove with sharp metal blades on the fingertips.
